This carousel is a fine sample of the craftsmanship of the Dentzel firm of Philadelphia. In addition to horses, this menagerie carousel carries bears, rabbits, ostriches, a lion, tiger and donkey, as well as two chariots. Riders must be at least 46" tall or accompanied by a responsible person to ride the Kiddy Kingdom Carousel. Hand-held infants must ride in a chariot.

This amusement park classic takes riders on a gentle ride up-and-down and around on a beautifully carved steed. Chariot seating is also available. Located just inside the Main Gate. Cedar Downs Racing Derby

Sixty-four horses race four-abreast around the track on the Cedar Downs Racing Derby, one of three carousels at Cedar Point. The horses move back and forth producing a racing effect. The momentum of the ride increases until it reaches a speed of approximately 15 mph. Riders must be at least 48" tall to ride the Cedar Downs Racing Derby.

The C.P. & L.E. Railroad is a traditional favorite of park guests. The 15-minute train excursion encompasses a two-mile trip over bridges and through a land of ghost towns and their residents. Chaos' three-dimensional rocking, rolling and rotating motion with a spinning/tilting platform whirls riders in a 360-degree movement that turns you sideways, upside down and every way but right side up. Ahhhhhhh! Riders ascend to the top of Demon Drop's 131-foot structure in six seconds. The car then creeps forward to the edge of the tower where it sits for several seconds and suddenly drops straight down 60 feet in less than two seconds! Riders must be at least 48" tall to ride Demon Drop.
